Literally. We’re all anxiously waiting for green to show up. Regardless of the late arrival of spring and all appearances of it, the birds still make their welcome presence be known both in song and bright plumage. With brown and white still dominating the landscape, they provide a colorful break. Following are some of the birds I’ve encountered this spring and in the days to come I’ll be publishing a new page on the website devoted to birds.
