A fortunate composition?

Sometimes it’s difficult to explain the appeal for a certain image.  Do I like this one because it’s what Joseph Campbell would call a “fortunate composition”, that is, being in the right place at the right time when everything seems to be working together in a harmonious way you can’t explain or take credit for.  Or is it that the memory of that pre-dawn morning comes back so totally and alive, as if I were there again that makes this one of my favorites.
